Summary: Even strength needs a little boost now and then.
If there is one thing Lulu is sure of, it is strength. Strength is a tree, imperishable, with its roots and branches endless beneath the earth and into the sky. A woman strong has obligation to those in need; for strength is the brilliance that protects against the night and the darkness that protects against the sun.
Strength is forsaking all fear, and warding others by example or action. None of them understand; she doesn’t expect them to. Excepting Auron, for he has lived it.
Here, at the end of their story, she touches his hand.
Unthought, he touches back.

I like how the current between them runs below the surface here. With Auron particularly, you know he is more than his sparse words or even actions.

It's lovely. I can't point at any one bit being better than the rest, except, because I am so very fond of symmetry, I especially like "the brilliance that protects against the night and the darkness that protects against the sun."
All the words are understated yet strong... rather the way they often are.
